Ostra provides on-demand, hardware-isolated micro virtual machines (“AI Computers”) with hourly metering and configurable spending caps. Computers are disposable by design: when a computer is destroyed — by you, by your agent, by its budget cap, or by scheduled expiry — its disk and state are permanently deleted and are not recoverable.

You are responsible for anything that runs on a computer created under your account, whether it was initiated by you, your team, or an AI agent acting with your credentials.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials and API keys secure. Activity performed with your keys is treated as your activity. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Ostra.

Ostra exists to run untrusted code safely — not to host harmful activity. You may not use Ostra, directly or through an AI agent, to:

• Break the law. No illegal activity of any kind under the laws of Türkiye, your own jurisdiction, or the jurisdiction where the infrastructure runs — including fraud, money laundering, and trade in illegal goods or services.
• Host or distribute pornography or any sexually explicit material. Child sexual abuse material is reported to authorities without exception.
• Attack others. No malware development or distribution targeting third parties, denial-of-service attacks, phishing, spam, credential harvesting, or unauthorized access attempts against systems you don't own or lack written permission to test.
• Abuse the platform. No attempts to escape the microVM isolation boundary, interfere with other customers' computers, resell capacity without an agreement, or mine cryptocurrency.
• Violate others' rights. No infringement of intellectual property, privacy, or data-protection rights, and no harassment or incitement of violence.

Legitimate security research inside your own computers (e.g. testing code your agent wrote) is exactly what Ostra is for. Pointing that activity at third parties without authorization is not.

Ostra is prepaid. Usage is billed hourly and drawn from your wallet balance; a computer stops billing the moment it is destroyed. The free tier includes 6 hours of compute with 1 concurrent computer and has no cash value.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy: consumed credit is not refundable, and unused balance is refundable subject to a 10% processing deduction.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with immediate effect for serious violations (illegal content, attacks on third parties, isolation-escape attempts). Where the violation involves illegal activity, we may preserve and share relevant records with law enforcement as required by law.

You may close your account at any time; any refund of remaining balance follows the Refund Policy.

Ostra is provided “as is” and “as available.” Computers are ephemeral: we are not liable for loss of data stored on a destroyed computer — snapshot templates exist for anything you want to keep. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid to Ostra in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date, and where practical by email. Continued use of Ostra after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
